Was checking out Sarasin Road, and walked around the corner to Langsuan Road, where we found Shela, which just opened about 1 week ago, and discovered that it was a ladies only club!

Zeta Bar is a chick bar, meaning ladies only, tomboys as well, ladyboys no, born a woman can born a man can not
have some friends that go, yes they are toms and friends/girlfriends of toms...
the gist of it from what they have told me, an all girl band plays in the beginning of night with another all girl band plays in the end of the night, with hiphop, dance, and pop played in between. basically a place for girls to hang out with out men hitting on them, drunken fights (although I have seen toms fight), place to be seen, place to show off your girl, if your a tomboy... most times the toms are eyeing each others girls and may or maynot make a move in that direction.
IMHO toms usually have very hot girlfriends. as you may or may not know most of the girls are not exactly with them, but rather the toms become the sponsor, or actual girlfriend due to a passed encounter with a man who may have broken her heart (i've heard this a lot),. this is not to say that all gf's of toms are lesbian or bi-sexual... some just do it for kicks, money, or perhaps their parents frown on their relationship or contact with men till their married but are ok with friends with another girl (tomboy).
also its known that toms have toys (strange that they are nowhere to be found in BKK, as BKK is known as the sex capital of the world) also toms always DATY while most thai men (its been said) do NOT (such a shame). I know of 2 friends in this same predicament, that have boyfriends but enjoy the companionship/friendship, shopping, nice meal, listening ear and financial stabilty that toms will offer.

An odd irony that I have found is that toms may dislike men, they certainly emulate the worst qualities of the worst men, in a desperate plea to act out being a man... never quite got that idiocy. Seems to apply across the spectrum of homosexuals, though - belittling breeders, but the roleplaying the part of 'breeders'.
