two days ago, I went to Zantika.
On my way to Zantika in soi 63, I saw She2 club and I thoguth I have never heard about it so I decided to stop by.
Security checked and got in. - no cover charge.
Lots of thai people only.
many pretties and hansome guys.
I think I was the only foreigner in there.
It has two sections. One is for thai live music discoteque. The other one is like a quite bar.
I had two glasses of whisky (180B each) and left.
probably stayed in there for about an hour and I think it is a good place to hang out for good thai musics and watching thai pretties.

My lady was living out in those Soi's. When we would go out to her apt saw many places with some red neon in the windows.
Was explained these were hostess bars. Never went to any--she was not going to take me.
Maybe Dr Love could start an advanced tour. Saw the one u mentioned--I believe. Much curiousity but no one to go with.
Oh well am still happy with Soi 0 to Soi 33.
Whole nother world.

I am pretty sure that your thai lady would like it very much.
That day, Zantika was half full but She2 was very packed.
Just make sure you go there a little bit earlier than 10:00. I got there about 10:20 but it had already been full and even no small place to stand without being bumped by people.

As I remember, in the previous She2 is a place like hostess bar for Japan Expat, but then this change environtment to pub like said Booze or BedSuperClub. Not sure this info is correct or not, but really don't like coz it always full, you can see even some girls have to be sit on their man as not enough sofa and chair especially over 22.00 in the night.

That's just what I was thinking and did. With Dr Love in-tow, he and I made the rounds of the Ekkamai club scene a few weeks ago.
We went only as far as the front door of She2 and decided not to go in based on what the security guys outside told us. Something along the lines of "this is your standard karaoke catering to Japanese expats"
While I'm not trying to dispute what cocoroso has posted her, it should be pointed out that he [cocoroso] is ethnically asian. That factor alone makes for a huge advantage around these parts when trolling the fringes of entertainment venues. To be caucasian is to be looked at as "the other" whereas to be asian is to be seen as "another brother." A subtle yet very pronounced difference.

Only trouble is, we're both middle aged... 
Just last week I had the perfect anecdotal conversation illuminating the implications: My 32 yrs old never married Thai female friend hailing from a rock solid middle-class Buriram family told me, "If only you'd come to Thailand 10 years ago [mid-30's], you'd be having a very different experience now."
However, in the Doc's case, he, being the silver tongued devil he is, the age factor doesn't slow him down one iota. But as for me, I'm the self-effacing "reab roy" antithesis of flirtatious type of guy. If it weren't for P4P I'd have been celibate for the past decade.
