A new club opened in thonglo, coming from sukhumvit main rd, as u turn into thonglo, its on the right hand side. Wont b able to miss it, since the neon lights are very bright.
Went there last nite, the place wasnt' so packed, but it will pick up soon.

Now it is pretty packed on weekends. The parking is limited, however, they do have valet parking.

Was there Last Night. Nice decor - bit like something out of Bed Club. Young Crowd - Some tasty snach but one big problem - Music. Intense Thai Rock. Im not sure how any Farang can take this for more then like 5 mins. Up stairs is equally painful. So moved on.

I agree with Matt on the music being torturous, and loud. The place is not that big, and you will be most likely be in the impact area of the bands speakers which are too loud (even if I did understand the thai lyrics). It leaves you longing for when the DJ is going to get his turn, and the sound will be a bit less.
Luckily it was not overly crowded like I would imagine it to be on a weekend. The combination of not being able to move, the smoke, and the shrill of the band would definately make me wonder why I ever went.
Nothing really to write home about on this place, and don't fancy going back.

its no longer Ice Bar... its now RAZBAR. still issues with parking.. although they have valet.
same owners as Prop Bar in RCA. they did some remodeling, took out some walls and opened up the place. had a soft opening last night.
also heard that Santika will close next year (condo's going up!) and of course Booze/Gigabyte/JET bar will be closing end of the year for condo's as well - that's a pretty big piece of land; you could fit a Central there.
but Escudo is reopening later in the month.
