Hi gents
Wanting some advice on HUA HIN from people who have visited.
*is it worth a visit ?
* Can a man have some good quality night time fun?
* Any nice beaches and is the sea clean enough for swimming?
Any advice from anyones experience would be appreciated.

arrabista, there are a few threads on Hua Hin in this section, which I hope you have checked out.
Beyond that, I like the place and go a few times a year. It's relaxing and if you look you can find good fun, fun loving girls (though good lookers not as plentiful as say BKK) at good prices. Good food there, important for me, and nice weather. You can swim in the sea. The place is best on non-Thai holidays, otherwise it's pretty crowded.

Arrabista - I have been visiting Hua Hin for about 3 years now and last year bought a place on the beach. To answer your questions - can you have some quality fun at night - yes, there are a number of bars - it is not a Bangkok or a Pattaya as the King lives there so the "action" is a lot less obvious if you understand. Massage parlors exist but very few offer extras or specials other than the Diamond Pub on the way into town. Have not been to Lolitas so am not sure of the action available in this place. Bars are realtively quiet affairs but the usual bar fine is available etc.
Can you swim in the sea, yes and the beaches are pleasant although can become crowded in the high season (Nov to early Apr - more around the Christmas / New Year period as a lot of northern Europe visit during their winter). One of the things I like about Hua Hin is that it is not overly tourist driven so you get more of the Thai Village atmosphere. I personally find it very relaxing, golf is excellent and you do not feel compelled to do a lot of normal touristy things as there is not a lot to see and do.

Diamond Pub sucks!! avoid at all costs it is a great way to waste 2000 thb.
Massage are a BIG hit or miss... a lot of older women offering massages.
lots of ladies in the bars but lacks quality, you really need to look for a stunner here... and usually they're always taken : (
Lolitas is a good bet, thank got they opened it

I would say you could have fun in Hua Hin, when I went I was accompanied but from what I saw there were girls available. As for the sea, when I was there in November the beach I stayed on was littered with dead jellyfish (huge bastards) so I personally would stay out of the water, although maybe these things are seasonal.

Water is quite rough and therefore sandy in Hua Hin at the moment.
Much nicer at Cha Am up the road.
Some excellent restaurants in hua Hin, some of my favourite in Thailand. A lot more action around Hua Hin than you may think, The new Coyote place is interesting.
