I have realized that Daffy Duck meant the Rhythm Bar behind the Napalai Hotel. Last night I asked reception about the disco and they said it was closed pointing downstairs so I assumed that was it. Today someone told me about the Rythym Bar. So I will check it out later tonight or tomorrow.

Last time I was there I recall right down the street from Irish Clock was a"stroll" where a number of working girls ply their trade for passing motorists. None of them spoke English but 500 baht was universal so off we went to Irish Clock where I was staying. A real trooper who wanted to stay after the deed but I had beer to drink and other gals to hunt. I should have kept her longer as I also went to the string of beer bars across from the mall and found nothing.

I ended up with a trusty tuk tuk driver who took me to a small soi where the Lao girls hang out. I picked one and my driver, Geeves, brought us to a short time hotel (the motel type with the curtains). The ST hotel cost 150 baht. The girl cost 1k baht. I know the girl price was too high but I was desperate and was beginning to have symptoms of withdrawal, or perhaps I should say "insertion withdrawal" :p
