Did you know that BuriRam is the home of anal sex. The young boys learn it at an early age from the pigs in the pen and then transfer it to the pooying in their early teens.

Khon Kaen is nice.
Two unis with lotsa nice girls, several soapies and enough clubs, bars discos to keep you going for awhile.
6-7 hours by a/c bus from MorChit.
310 baht in October when I last went.
A/C bus deposits you in the centre of town, walk out the bus station and you will find Kaen Inn across the road, it has lights outside that look like big balloons.
500 baht and quite decent.
Baht buses for 5 baht, no falang price, and they have regular numbered routes.

Khon Kaan is the 2nd biggest city in LOS
no, it's not CM
the bus actually stops in two locations in Khon Kaan when travelling thru
and there's an hour's driving distance between those two locations
the place is HUGE

Good choice, Bestmate! You'll find a lot of options await you there. If you search here through some of the older threads there's a lot to learn.
The Sofitel is a fantastic value there- ***** digs at a *** price. Kosa hotel is also a very nice hotel choice.
Kosa has a very nice MP attached, too. The best in the town, actually. The MP entrance is slighty hidden off to the left side of the Kosa's entrance- when facing it- down one of those sidewalks that appears to lead to nowhere. Either hotel puts you at a location that is perfect if you want to prowl the night club scene but be close to MP's.

Charoen Thani also has an MP, but their talent wasn't as nice as Kosa's.

Hi there,
Sofitel in KK is not as great as discribed in previous posts. Although girl friendly and a very nice hotel, the basement action is not existing anymore. There is no more discotheke with freelancers. When I was there in April the Karaoke club was deserted. There were quite some girls in the lounge/bar (forgot the exact name) in the basement. However mamasan quoted price @2100THB for 2 hours in room.
