If you are interested in doing things cheaper in Bahrain you could stay at the Tylos for 15bd plus brekkie and in house girls who vary in quality are 20bd short time.
You could also go to the Bab Bahrain hotel near KFC which has ST for 10 BD plus 10 BD for the room.
Tobasco Charlies has plenty of Freelancer 30 bd or more depending on bargaining skills
I stay in a two bedroom apartment in Jufair for 30 bd and it is fantastic compared to a hotel....it is just behind the Ramee where plenty of Thais hang out....Layali apartments..
Phoenica is an Arab hangout so I avoid it...it is also very expensive....good looking girls but I get much better service from Thais than other nationalities.

Is the Tylos the hotel just off the corniche as you first get into the city? It is just past the great Circle of Death as you are getting into town?
If it is, I had good luck there as well. I couldn't remember the name of it. I also tried the Bahrain International Hotel but I didn't much like it. I like the Tylos better.
Where is Tabasco Charlie's place?

The Tylos is the one just a bit further down the road from the Bahrain International...same street same side....you can't miss it.....
Tobascos is up behind the Bahrain International in a place called the Hunters Lodge....just ask and someone will point you in the direction....doesn't really get going til late....after 11pm
There are also freelancers in the Harvester Bar these days and many other places as well...good hunting..
News Flash....I may dictch the Perth job as a company in Singaporewants me....more money and closer to Thailand..

I frequent a thai fast food place here in Dubai, so I chat with a couple of thai waitresses while waiting for my food. One just got back from opening up the franchise in Bahrain. Asked her how she liked it.
Her reply? "In Dubai, I always tell people I'm thai; proud of it. But in Bahrain? No, I don't say, I'm ashamed."
She was saying she could not walk down the street without getting asked "how much".

Been meaning to answer for a couple of days. The job situation sounds better and better. Singapore is hours closer. Go for it.
I may be trying Bahrain out in the next couple of weeks. Unless I have to go to the left coast.

Dubai is not much better when it comes to Chinese girls.
I was propositioned in the Burjaman Centre by Chinese and down that main drag in Bur Dubai in the daytime.
There is a whole business going on in both Dubai and Bahrain with importing hookers and some influential Arabs are making big money out of it.

I know some of the Dubai Chinese WG's are uneasy with the SW scene. One I know has SWs outside her apartment. She considers them "crazy" and think they take unacceptable risks, but it also means she can't go out without getting bothered by curb crawlers. Not to mention the risk of getting caught up in a LE sweep when she's just popping out to the shop. As a free lancer with a life outside P4P she likes to keep work at the office. It will be even worse for others who are not on the game at all.
It's pretty obvious if she is a SW is "selling", no excuse for bugging regular girls going about their daily business.
It is easy to get conditioned in your thinking though. I am currently in the CIS, but so use to being in Dubai. In a bar the other night it was hard to adjust to the fact that these sexily dressed women were not WGs. The Russian women do like to dress the part. Saw one this morning dipping the tank level in a gas station wearing a mini, high heel boots and a tight top, she would have stood out in the Cyclone! Even the hotel chamber maids were dressed to kill. Like anywhere one must be sensitive and not dive in until you are sure.

I have had two CIS tell me that in Russia, in nice hotels, the maids are "available."
Indeed, in some areas, being a chambermaid is seen as a "dirty" profession. A come hither look may yield results in your hotel.

Police launch Bahrain sex probe

A highly-organised prostitution ring supplying Thai women to the booming market of Bahrain is the first target of the new police Transnational Sex Trafficking Unit. A Thai prostitute in Bahrain said: ''Bahrain is a lucrative destination for us. Many women are said to have made a million in less than a year.''
Though most Thai prostitutes in Bahrain are working there of their own volition, this is still regarded as transnational human trafficking, said Pol Maj-Gen Kamronwit Toopkrachang, chief of the Crimes Against Children, Juveniles and Women Suppression Division, which oversees the unit.
Unit chief Jaruwat Waisaya said there had been complaints from sex workers about slave-like working conditions, with some claiming to have been tricked and forced into prostitution. This prompted his team to head to Bahrain early this month to investigate.
Talks with the Thai ambassador to Manama, the capital, and some sex workers confirmed the illegality of the human trade, said Pol Col Jaruwat. He declined to give details.
A source leaked the unit's confidential report, which said that of the 8,000 Thais living in Bahrain thousands were women engaged in the thriving flesh trade, which pays 10 times more than the rate they get back home.
Bahrain has become a draw for sex workers from eastern Europe and Africa and Asia _ including Laos, Burma, China, the Philippines, India, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and Ethiopia.
According to the report, Thai sex workers ply their trade in locations ranging from coffee shops, Thai massage outlets, nightspots and five-star hotels.
Most of them typically solicit customers at massage shops in the so-called Thai town of Adliy.
The source quoted the report as saying: ''Agents, known as 'Mae Tak,' oversee Thai sex workers in Bahrain until they earn enough [to pay off their debts].''
After repaying the on-arrival expenses of around 130,000-180,000 baht each to Mae Tak, they can return home or work freelance.
Many women did go there voluntarily, but were tricked into working as prostitutes.
Without passports or cash, they were kept in brothels until their on-arrival expenses were covered.
The source said the unit was trying to reach the sex workers to round up their recruiters in Thailand and agents in Bahrain.
The unit was also studying Thai and Bahraini laws and coordinating with its Bahraini counterparts in preparation for a crackdown on the ring, said the source.
Due to the unit's lack of funding and equipment, the Foreign Affairs Ministry has footed the initial investigation bills.
