What I did notice is some Russian girls holidaying together poolside by day or shopping and going out at night.
Some obviously were up for party tricks.
But it's a mine field.
You would need to let them do the referencing to money.
Most just wanted a free drink.
The men with their f***ed up haircuts and big mouths had us move hotels. We got sick off listening to Russian shit and their squabbles. Thankfully in Go Gos their numbers were fewer.
And hardly competition as Thai hookers equate them slightly above Indians and Iranians...but too much trouble. Some go Gos actually politely refuse them entery.
But the landscape has changed and though white meat hunters might like Russian freelancer numbers swelling so is corruption and crime as pimps try bribing police to run their girls.
Sure cops arrest them sometimes but sometimes ignore them.
And scams abound on both sides.
The Russian men ruin what little ambience the beach held with their noisy heckles. They argue with shop keepers and stare you down in packs and even spit on the ground poolside when your playing with some young Thai hooker in the pool.
Yet Thai businesses like the added income as 7/11s and laundrys and restaurants and item stalls increase sales.
The saddest thing is their preference given over western ears in small business.
The nicer hotels with finer dining will seek you out first and attend to you with priority same with the sex trade workers and more expensive retail clothing stores in malls etc.
But Russia has truely invaded and the bulk of transactions are small in Thailand so the Thais like motor Taxis and tour boats and people who sell small items or food on the cheap are happy to see them on their shores.
They say Thailand has never been colonised ?
