Dr Love is a very good tour guide.
But I suggest you, as you know the basic ropes of Bangkok, give him some specific guidelines about what you want to do... Or you can end up with the very basic soi33-patpong-nana-routine. Good for a first-timer in town, but maybe not your cup-of-tea.

OOOOPS - I will be in bkk for trip # 23 in feb- add to the things you mentioned- eden, soi 7 beer garden, toxic, soi cowboy and that kept me very busy- are you telling me there are dozens of places I know nothing about- and that these are only for newbies?????Do I need a shrink? cheers, erickE

it has been said many many tmes on this forum...and after my recent trip must reiterate.....it is a wasted trip to bangkok without a visit to Eden....IMHO still the best value on the frekin planet!!!!
