Was walking to soi 22 and on the way so one of these dogs was taking a squat on the sidewalk. It just struck me wrong and allmost threw up right there.
Treat deficating dogs like touts look straight ahead and walk on by. Resist the urge to inspect.
Use the ATM--good rate. If you bring cards write down the contact numbers in case you loose them. Or you can simply copy the cards but black out the little id # on the back. Also be sure to contact your credit card co. when you travel so you do not get rejected when they see a charge coming from BKK.
Happened once when purchacing eyeglasses. Had to get a phone card and call the CC co. to approve the charge.
Oh by the way LOS is a great place to buy eye glasses. The pair I bought cost about $125 in LOS. I took this same pair to lencrafters in US and they quoted me a price of about $650. Mmmm for $100 more I can get a tic to LOS. Not much of a decision for me.

A crazy friend of mine went into a Muay Thai ring once when he was over here in the Marines.
He paid like $50 to go in the ring. That included getting his Shorts and Robe that he still proudly has. He said the crowd was loving it as they were playing the rocky tune.
He said he felt sorry for the kicking the much smaller guys ass. One time he stopped cause he thought he hurt the guy bad, but the guy responded with a good cheap shot.
In the midst of this whole thing he re-tweak'd an old football knee injury, and decided he better call it quits since he was the Aircraft commander of the C-130 he had to fly out the next day. He would have had some explaining to do.
Anyways...it makes for a good story.

New territory for me - Soi 33....
What's the form here? is this place on a pricing strategy all of it's own?
I did a few bars last night including a bar fine attempt in Dali, Livingstones and Christies - all OK 6's.
In all cases the barfine was 1500 bhts and the LT rate asked for was 4000!!!, the "usually its 2k" cut absoluteley no ice at all? Must admit that I didn't see any take outs whilst I was there either.
So I went to Cowboy and after a pretty hot ST in Dollhouse (convenient having a room on the plot so to speak) picked an average looking gal from Rawhide who kept me up all night with an athletic performance that made my toes curl. for a stock 500 BF and 2000 LT!
I did give her a 500 tip for the taxi and now feel mean as I should have given here at least 1000 extra. We made out all night - or so it felt to my beer hazed brain.
Arh well -just have to see her again another night - still best part of two weeks to go.

hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread. for about a year and a half i've been lurking these forums sucking up info about the p4p scene and you people have encouraged me to make a trip to LOS. It's no that I can't get laid. I've gone out with many asian girls here, both asian american and fob's (fresh off the boat), but I think it will be an adventure to experience thailand up close and personal. I would apreciate if any one could help me with some answers? This has porbably been asked more than once so will try to make things short
1) What bars to avoid that contain ladyboys so I can avoid them? other than the obvious ones of course but I heard some have mixed lb's in them.
2) Can mama san's be barfined for LT or ST? If so, since i'm 23 will that be a problem at the bar or hotel if she is much older than me?
3) Where are the young ones and old ones located?Out of curiosity what's the oldest ones that you have seen working?
4) where are the pretty ones/ ugly ones usually seen at?
5) It's a sure bet that the younger girls can be seen free-lancing but do any of the older ones free-lance also? like between27-40?

Yes they can but most are not worth Barfining, I can think of only a couple of exceptions. No issues with any age Women, most GF Hotels have pretty much seen it all!

Only one teensy little problem...3:27 PM Eastern Standard Time in the US is 3:27 AM in BKK. 
This will change in April when the US goes on daylight savings time. Then the difference will be only 11 hours and not 12.
