Seriously though, you say she was "infected", how so? Do you mean she used to do more things but then guys, Japanese in your/her case, started throwing too much money her way and she became more selective about what she would do?
I've heard guys worrying about others paying too much and tipping too high but I never gave it much thought. But, if what I think you are saying is correct, this could be an actual example of what others have only
theorized or have been worried about.
That having been said, I guess it isn't too hard to understand that if one is offered more to do less, one is more likely be "sticky down" and not want to go back to doing more for less. Someone should write a book about the economics of a Bar Girl. ;)

If a particular service is really important to you and will make the difference between whether you select a girl or not then you should definitely ask up front.
However, one reason I never ask up front is because I don't want to set any limits beforehand. Often if you are a decent guy and the girl gets comfortable with you then the limits may be different than what she would just tell any random guy in the bar.
