Business brings me back to Asia so I have finnagled a trip to Thailand in the process. This is my second trip so I more or less know the ropes, but I would like to ask the veterans for some advice. This time I will be with several newbies who expect me, the "veteran" after only one trip, to know where to go at a drop of the hat. Thus, I feel some pressure to be knowledgeable.
I have been to the usual suspect places, massages (Poseidon, Oranges, Angels, Friends, Cupidy etc.), bars (Soi 11 bars such as Q Bar, Bed & Supper, Genesis) and some of the Nana and Soi Cowboy establishments. I have done a river boat trip up the CP river, etc. In other words, the obvious places. I have UTFSE so there are few places that I am totally unaware of.
I guess my question is, are there any gems in Sukhimvit area bars for evening entertainment that are HIGHLY recommended. For example, what are the best Nana/Soi Cowboy bars to take a group of 5 that are recommended? Some Ratchadipisek soapies/clubs that are highly recommended (other than Poseidon and the other usual suspects).
I guess I am looking for suggestions of not so obvious places. I apologize in advance for the tedium of my question, I know this type of question is often posed. However, I am hoping for recommendations of places where people have had good experieces recently.

Booking the good Doctor might just be your best bet.
IMHO G-spot a Nana is not so hot these days – but to each their own.
My 2 bits:
Nana: Rainbow I and IV, Playskool, Carousel – start the evening off at with a Big Mango burger.
SC – Long Gun, Dejavu, Shark
I spend much more time on SC than Nana, and when picking a SC bar it has a lot to do with what you are looking for. The bars I mentioned above have the best looking ladies IMHO right now. But for example if you are looking for young looking girls then Baccara top floor is the bar for you. If you are looking for touchy feely girls then Toy bar or the like is the type of bar for your group. Cactus bar does not have the best looking ladies, but they generally are dancing nude – I have yet to BF anyone from Cactus but a friend of mine seems quite pleased with the service he has been getting from the girls in this bar as of late. Sheba and Suzi Wong have some half way decent shows. Tilac and the Black & White bar are larger bars and would give a group like your more room to relax.

Angel witch....shit hole....really the worst unless to are into being dominated by the odd bitch or two.....
R4 is a good choice, but too crowded in my opinion
Soi Cowboy....Shark....which is a massive turnaroud in comparison to my comments of 6 months ago.....

For an afternoon soapy, I would suggest Evita or Meree out on Phetburi Rd.
Go Soi 33 for Happy Hour. Lookie Lookie is always pretty good. Across from it is Big Shots, hit or miss there but I've had some good times there and met the former love of my life there.  Some people like The Office. Blue Heaven is not bad sometimes. All bars have drink specials until 9pm.
