at long last I am planning to go back to BKK this July. I was wondering if any of the regulars could give me updates on the following -
1. Did they actually close the new airport?
2. Is Mike's place still the place to go for Russians? How much is the going rate these days?
3. Is it illegal to bring in condoms into Thailand?

I suggest bringing your own condoms if you have a favorite brand or are "well-endowed". I find the condoms here too tight and there's a limited variety to choose from. The same holds true for lubes and other items. Sex toys are banned here so if you are into that bring your own.
