As for transfers well my wife has an australian Debit card of mine- ( can only clock up whats in the account) so it costs me about 150 baht per transaction when she uses it ($5)
I deposit money free of charge here

Blonk I transfer money regularly overseas. I do not use a bank for foreign currency transactions
Assuming here you are transferring money from Australia, the banks will give you their standard 'rip-off' rates of around 3 cents down on the dollar from the true market rate. When you contact the bank you can always ask to 'go upstairs' and deal with the business foreign exchange team to get the better deals but you have to have an amount of around $20,000 or over before they will consider this
Your best bet is to deal with the independent foreign currency exchange brokers that have Mums and Dads and small companies as their clients. Here you will be given an exchange rate close to the market value (I pay around 0.3% as commission). If you exchange less than $10,000 these companies generally charge an additional fee of $15
Just google foreign exchange brokers for companies. Of course you must put trust in the company nothing will happen to your money when's it's in their trust account waiting to be transferred into your account overseas, so do your homework & pick your broker wisely

Lololol. Those don't exist either, $100 are the biggest that are still in circulation. When the USA was under the gold standard you could find $500, and $1000 size, but they have been out of circulation for over 40 years now....lolol.

The cheapest way is to buy $500US American Express travelers checks, and mail them. Doing it this way your Terak will get actual daily bank rates if she deposits them into her account, minus the bt30 charge. This is the cheapest way to do it, just make sure you don't leave them blank, and that you make them out to her, as in "pay to the order of". Then she can deposit them.
If you do leave them blank then they will be stolen in the post....hahahahahaha. I had to mention this because if I didn't you would have surely left them blank, then wonder why they were stolen everytime you sent them.
These are AMEX travelers checks so you have complete protection if they get stolen out of the mail.
If she is in a huge hurry for the money, which most likely will be the case everytime then you can pay the exhorborant fee for overnight delivery.
How ever you do it though, this is the cheapest way to do it if you happen to be smart, and your bank gives you free Travelers checks like most do, if you were smart when you first set up your account with them to shop for this important feature.
If you weren't smart enough to get an account at a bank that gives you free TCs then forget this way of doing it, or set up with a bank that does give you free TCs like most everyone else has done.
If you have a real good bank you can even get the TCs in $1000 size now, but you will have to have a bank that can get them as not all can.

Why does a working terak need money all the time? You shouldn't have to be sending any money to Thailand at all if you're only going to be gone a short time....hahahahaha.
That's the problem you always face when you have to work. You can't live your dream......eieieieieieieieiei. Something is always going to force you to leave.
