Let this be a warning to all those who want to go to Cupidy. As indicated, prices are variable and they will try to get as much as they can from farangs. They also pay taxi commissions, so if you arrive in a cab, they add on 1,000 to 2,000 on to your bill, so they can pay the taxi driver. Also, girls are just average in my opinion. Finally, attitutude of the papasans is terrible.
My recommendation is to go to one of the soapies where you can take the skytrain or subway. Nataree is my personal favorite.

I'm never bothered by the papasans there, last night I took the taxi there and got off at Prince Hotel. Tip the guy 20 baht at Prince Hotel since he saw me do it the night before.

What's the issue here? Take the taxi to Prince hotel. Walk around the side of Cupidy. Walk in, say hello if you want to a papasan or ignore them. Go up and pay 2200 baht for a sideline girl. Go up to the room and have fun.
I'm never "lured" by Taxi drivers.. I know where I want to go.
I never have problems with any papasans, I know what I want and if it's 200 baht more then another place.. big deal that's like $5.
20 Baht is 50 cents.. where are you guys from? Is that big money?

Bkkfella I did read the thread, and have been a member of the thread longer than you. I know Cupidy and if they were harsh to customers I would report it. Looking through the threads I can see you have a chip on your shoulder from a earlier situation.
