Don't want to go off topic, but now that you've mentioned it...
The buliding Bombay Bar is located in is called Liberty Plaza, just next to H1. It's got a whole bunch of other bars/clubs and a couple of restaurants.
Not sure if you can call it 'hi-so'...sure it's trendy but I've been there quite a few times, and I call it 'middle class'. But then again, TIT, you never really know how it works..
Anyway. It's called 'Bombay' because of the overarching Indian decor. College-style band. The layout is like most local places where there isn't a proper dance floor but lots of tables and chairs where you sit down for drinks and eats. oh, and just groove in your seats to the music. If it gets crowded enough, it's standing room only. Of course there might be some dancing if there they held a concert by an established band.
The reason why most of the people (not just girls) don't dance because its part of the club 'culture', which may be due to 'structural' reasons...i will elaborate upon request.
