Get a small cramped standing room only floor space around BTS with about 20 sq meters of cooking space but shelter customers out of the rain. Then apply for a Waffle House BKK limited franchise. So theres your investment tip of the day. Plus outta the back door sell Krispy Kremes in dozens only. Get the scooter boys to deliver and make triple the investment tip I just gave above.

Doug at Bourbon Street assures me he has pancakes on the menu. We shall see how good they are come September on my 2nd trip to BKK, first one sans wife. Most of the Pancakes in asian restaurants are to sucky to be believed. If those at BS are up to Ah-mer-ee-kan standards I'll let you all know.

This seems to be one of the sillier topics on the board, but ....
One of my friends loves pancakes and he goes to the Marriott for brunch every Sunday. He has taught them to make good pancakes (his words, not mine) .. so if paying a lot for a good brunch which would include pancakes made ala Bob, then that might be the place to go...
Personally, I like a good omelette and they are hard to find (altho the Thai omelettes are good) so I cook them myself. Create my own salza and use the cheese that they sell that is damn near cheezewhiz in quality..
