Going down Nana towards the Grace, there is an Indian resturant on the left, can't remember the name, but I thought the food was good, not great, anyone else have a report. Sorry cannot remember the name.

About a year ago, I tried several Indian restaurants that were recommended, but the best by far was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Silom Rd. It was just a few blocks from the BTS.
I went on a Sunday when they have an all-you-can-eat buffet. I believe it was 500 baht per person. They had live music and it was the most extensive and best Indian buffet I have eaten at. Most Indian restaurants in the US have lunch buffets, but nothing like this one. All the other Indian restaurants I tried in Bangkok were very mediocre (but I did not try the Rembrandt).

Got into Bkk late Friday and last night had dinner at Malaysian Aunties.. chicken Masala and garlic nan.. really good..
the gauntlet is highly over rated.. first the bar mentioned is about two sois down, so you never have to go near it.. it is even past the sub soi where you go to Alley Cat Bar (still kicking and sucking as of last night.. ACB is where I go for my apetizer and then dinner at MA)
Out of curiousity, checked out the WE4U bar.. about eight girls and one guy when I went into ACB... on the way out, the same girls and no guys.. From about 20', nothing there to draw one in, but different strokes for different folks I guess..
just wonder if HS has a financial interest in this bar.. sure nothing out of the ordinary about it?? Wonder why all the attention he draws to it??
