I have to put in a vote for the Belgian Dog.
The burger was HUGE, the meat was good, the buns were fresh baked just for him, and the girl cooking them used to be some head mucky-mucky chef at some fancy hotel (or something). She was quite friendly, and asked me how I wanted my burger, and delivered it as ordered, perfect.
The guy who owns the place is Asian, but from Belgium, and is a quality-oriented man. I ate there about a month ago, and he was looking to move the joint to a better location, lower on Sukhumvit, so please post if you have any info about the move. I don't get over that way often enough to track it down, if he has indeed moved.

Off thread a bit but today had the ceasar chicken sandwich at Landmark... very good. The burgers are also good but you should be careful to order either lamb if you want beef or beef if you want lamb.

The one near the Childlom BTS station, near the Maneeya building. You should be there at 9-10 am in the mornings, lots of students hanging out doing their tutorials.

what bothers me is that it seems to be only an issue of meat quality. Everyhting else is in LOS, someone just needs to get good meat and charge a markup for the quality. I know the locals on a local salary won't like that, but in the tourist areas it shoul dnot be a problem.
In the U.S. I always pay between $10-15 for a GREAT hamburger.
We sit there and pay 120 baht for a 12oz beer and we drink a lot of them, so why not pay up for a GREAT burger?
