Sounds like we may have come up with another costume idea to suggest to Marc over at Eden Club  , and yes, I to am a Star Trek geek and remember the episode. That was the only episode where Capt. Kirk got married ( If i'm not mistaken ). Peace

That's right, forgot about the marriage thing. And she was pregnant I believe and, of course, she dies in the end. Tied up the loose ends. I guess that episode had impact on more than one adolescent, testosterone crazed mind

Do NOT get me started on Natalie Wood - YOWZA! I always had a thing for her (started with West Side Story but "Splendor" --yesss...) and recently saw her on some documentary and was reminded why.
As for your brainwave machine: I would gladly volunteer to enter a state of suspended animation while it was operating (for a while anyway) if I too could watch it all on playback. Especially as I've forgotten so much of it. No doubt a lot of it would be surprising (shocking?) to me!

I will be in LOS for Turkey Day. Trust me I wouldn't gorge myself into a deep sleep. I would probably start eating in te early afternoon to ensure a full digestion process before the evening activities.

The slimy cheese on the burger comment is what pissed me off. The ignorant American comment and oter nonsense didn't bother me but when you attack the virtue of the cheesesburger you have definitely crossed the line.
BTW - The Landmark makes one of the best damn burgers I have ever sampled anywhere.

Brother JJ, also while you're there try the burger at Woodstock in NEP. I haven't had the pleasure but I hear it's pretty good. Just don't let me find out you decided to have a burger instead for Thanksgiving, although if they serve turkey dinner there you can start the hunt right away afterward . Peace

Am a great lover of Thai food, my TGF cooks for me while I'm in-country. But an occasional burger would be a fun distraction. Haven't eaten a burger in Thailand yet (though my TGF has dragged my to KFC plenty of times) but is the burger at the entrance to NEP on your recommendations list? Am assuming it's "flame broiled" right there, and doesn't have too many uninvited inclusions in the meat? If so, maybe I try one next month.

The burgers at the Landmark Huntsmans Pub are pretty good too... none of that British bread in the meat burger stuff... 100% US beef. Hormones and all.. yum yum. Steaks were pretty crap there though...
