Hereford? Never heard of it.
Especially never heard of a place called Bradbury Lines in the old days, now Stirling Lines, after an upstart Scots junior officer named David who had a crazy idea while in N.Africa and the temerity to go straight to the top with it by sneaking past sentries and ignoring staff officers, whose job it was to screen bothersome juniors such as he from the decision makers.
No, never heard of Hereford.
Naturally I never heard of the fellow sitting next to me at the head table of the conference, who, had I heard of him, would have been the 'Man of Mogadishu' who also would never have set eyes on Hereford. Nor would he have been a Lt Col in that nonexistant special something or another, later head of a private security mob called KMS.
No, never heard of them either.
In fact I had best go have several drinks and kill some more brain cells.

had the burger at the Landmark again and it was damn superb. After a bout of drinking I tried the one at Woodstock and it was very tasty but don't quote me on it because when you have a gut full of booze any red meat is a damn tasty!

Best Burger (IMHO) is at Madrid Lounge - Patpong. They cater to ex-pats and embassy folks. pizza and other daily specials also woth a mention. nice quiet plcae to grab a bite and is usually my first stop on a night out. And - it is the only bar on Patpong with the same name, owner, decor, atmosphere, set-up as it had in 1973. even the same tacky wall decorations!!
