Funny you should mention the Tandoori chicken. It was a little rubbery. But I noticed that at most places in BKK, especially Thai restaurants, they pre-cook the chicken and it usually is over-done.

Check LINO, an Italian restaurant on Sukhumvit 31. Reasonable prices. Some fresh pasta and some specialities from Treviso. Decorated with a lot of paintings of Italian artists. A must.

I had a very nice pizza last night at Pizza Belle in soi 33, the view is not bad either. But I have tried a few places and so far this is the best, it was tasty, cheese was great, fresh toppings, crust was also the best so far, but alas still not perfection. I have been recommended a pizza place as being the best in town, this reco comes from an Italian guy living here in Los, so should be good, but worried a little cos he does not look Italian, Swiss perhaps, maybe even Tasmanian, but not Italian.
When I try it, I will post it, good or bad.

yes, they have good pizzas. the beauty is you can even get them to deliver in all of the places on 'millionaires row'. nothing better than a pizza shared with the cutiesm in 'madame claude' for example!

well I finally found a really good pizza in los, you need to take a bus, taxi or van, then a boat, then a songtow, then another songtow, then a boat, then a good 400 metre walk, but it is worth it, unless you hit them on a day when they have run out of tomatoe, then there is no pizzas.

I know the place well Max.... it's near my house. The owner has two attractive daughters who work there as waitresses. They don't run out of tomatoes often, but when they do the old guy lets you eat his daughters instead of pizza.... Nice old fart... good attitude. Great daughters too.
