If you do not mind spending USD 75 on you meal (incl drinks), try the steakhouse at the JW Marriott. I have eaten there and it compares with Morton's Steak House in LA.

Thanks for the Steak One recommendation....
Checked it out last night...meat was delicious,but 850 baht for 18 oz. T-bone wasnt a bargain,side dishes are 5 french fries and 3 each of sliced carrot and green beans..Why bother at all?!... it didnt fill me up either,but I eat like a horse.
I would recoomend it to somebody who isnt starving...I prefer being completely stuffed and paying a bit extra then walking away from a $25.00 meal not full...but again meat was nice...will go back when im not starving.

Steak one was ridiculious!!, I watched as they pulled the frozen steak from the freezer and nuked it to thaw it out. Then the guy proceeded to pound the crap out of it for 2 minutes. They then put the steak in a needless marinade for a few. The steak came to my plate raw..
trust me, I know my meats, subgrade... I would easily prefer a $5 greasy spoon steak aka steak and eggs, save your dough

I am surprised that no one has yet mentioned Tenderloin's on Soi 33.
Great Aussie steaks there, as well as a very nice Argentinian.
Prices are around 650-750 THB. They cook it as you like, and the cuts are very nice.
It is on the left-hand side as you enter from Sukhumvit, just past Livingston's.
Excellent chow, great service.
I eat there all the time.

I am occasionally stricken with the urge for a good steak SANDWICH - thin minute steak on a bun with fries - as a break from khao pad gai and street barbeque. Best ones I've found so far...
The Brit. pub that I can never remember the name of but is on the far corner of Soi Cowboy. Used to do them on an excellent crusty bun with mases of fries. However last tour (April) was a bit disappointing (no fries for one things and a bit stringy). Don't know if there's been a change in management/chef.
The Nana Hotel does a decent snack-sized steak sandwich on toasted white bread with fries.
Gulliver's, Soi 5 is pretty good also for an early evening red meat snack, if a bit stringy.

Have you tried the Steak set at Fuji? The steak is cut into cubes and very tender. You also get cooked garlic with them. Rice instead of potatoes I"m afraid. Other sides (soup, asparagus, a large prawn) for less than 300 Baht.

Steak cut up into pieces, WTF you do that for. Why would you butcher a piece of steak like that. You obviously come from a country that has no decent steaks or know how to prepare them.
Honey....just throw that big rump on the bbq next to the big T bone. Steaks in the US, especially around Abilene are the best, although steaks from Argentina and Astralia are up there as well.
Frozen steaks, nothing worse.

The Best Steak IMHO has to be Chockchai Steakhouse on Suk Soi 23. About 200 metres past Soi Cowboy
Chockchai has its own farm near Korat
Steaks are dry aged and very tender.
Steaks are served on a large sizzling hotplate
Cheapest steak about 500 baht
Most expensive approx 750 baht
Also great Steak sandwiches and Burgers.
Try there h0me made milkshakes for over indulgence
