SO BAD: ma be bo or something like that. At Lang suan, soi 5. Italian restaurant.
The atmosphere and decoration is nice, the band is nice, but the staff is terrible. Even the farang manager would not say hello to his guests. not to me, not to others. and the food was very expensive for what it was. A andive salad with duck (could not find the duck, so little it was sliced) for 345 Baht and a chicken filled with mushrooms which came as a kind of deepfried Kentucky chiken. Not good for an italian. It was dry and we both left our maincourse almost untouched.

"Lino" on sukhumvit 31 just added pizza (200 Baht) to his menu. Lunch and dinner. Closed Monday.

This has been mentioned before, but give Belle Pizza a try down on Soi 33. They have the best Pizza I have ever tasted in Thailand, United States and Canada for that matter.
The view is great too. Gives you chance to target the next bar girl in those high class bars on Soi 33. Sit by the window!!!

Bella Napoli, not.
Certainly there are better pies in the US than Papa John & Dominos. Not only are there better pies, there are much better pies, some terrifically better pies.
But I'll take Papa John or Dominos over Bella Napoli in a second. The Bella pizza looked good, but it was soggy & limp. And not a whole lot of flavor for that that matter either.
Big disappointment.

Being Italian I almost despite pizza n pasta while in LoS
but some exceptions has been made:
Basilico soi 33:quick service,nice place,wood ovened and quite tasty pizza,priced in the range of other pizzeria's in bkk.
Pasta n' Noodles on suk:Good Carbonara or Pesto pasta dishes,best Bruschetta in town!taste it bro's.
oh...and the waitress BUALOY is still in my dreams.
Pizza Hut is not that bad,xcept the slowliest service ever and the over watered coke.

Right next to the Bed and Supperclub, there is a new italian restaurant called "Venezia". The proprietor used to work at La Piola, which is right around the corner.
PROS: food tastes outstanding; staff friendly and attentive; nice location; clean and welcoming ambience.
CONS: extremely expensive by BKK standards
BOTH PRO and CON: very traditional Italian menu (nothing creative, its similar to La Pomodoro) ; lounge singer can be entertaining or annoying, depending on your mood.
I will return here but will not eat here as often as I'd like due to the price.

Really good pizza at Monsoon Soi 8. Suggest the veggie with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar (200B). Nice comfortable outside seating too.

It's connected to the Aldephi Suites Hotel. Also something that should be mentioned... this place has one of the nicest bathrooms in the suk area.
After your done with your meal take the easy stroll down the shortcut to Soi 4 passing Lolitas.
