What I said was: Having eaten in both places I would have to say Los Cabos is the better of the two. I could not eat the Soi 18 food it was so bad.

The two dishes we tried at Soi 18 was taken away and both were put in the trash can t the Hotel. They were that bad! Maybe I ordered the only two bad items on the menu but theywere not fit to eat! At Los Cabros we cound eat what was served.

A new "concept".... surely the kiss of death. When the focus is on concept (whateverthef*** that means) instead of food, then the odds are good that this new joint will hoover up outrageous amounts of money and then expire to join so many others. "Littered with the bones of many" is a good analogy...
Can someone explain why the new owners would want the previous guy to implement their concept when he has already demonstrated failure with his own concept? It's a weird industry... a lot of ego and often a shortage of business smarts and cooking skills.

Here is a CONCEPT that will work
Good food, at cheap price
served in a quiet and clean place
with waiters who can actually take an order and quickly bring to the table exactly what you ordered and nothing else.
Also no hidden charge&taxes would be a good idea...
But it seem there is NO place like this in Bangkok, look like this CONCEPT is too exotic
