Hi everyone, Was watching "A Cook's Tour" last night on the Food Network (USA) and it happened to be a Thailand special featuring Chang Mai and some of the local cuisines. One of the things the host pursued was finding some good noodles. It really looked good and made me want to have some too on my next trip out to LOS. Does anyone have recommendations where I can find some good noodles in BKK. My guess is I'll run into some type of street vendor with some great noodles (On my previous visits to Thailand I rarely ate any food from street vedors - but I have heard thats where the best food is) Thanks in advance

I would not agree that the best Thai food is on the street, but everyone has their own opinion. For good noodles, try the Food Court at the Chitlom Central Department store (7th floor). This is a high end (but moderate cost) food court run by some of the best restaraunts in town. In addition to Thai noodels they have regular Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Indain, Italian, and deserts. The store is directly connected to the Chitlom BTS Skytrain stop.
