Does anybody have some recommendations for where to take an Eden Club girl to if you want to wine and dine her and generally show her a good time. I want to give the poor girl a day that does not involve getting f_cked by total strangers for 6 ñ 8 hours a day!
I will be over in BKK soon and want to bar fine my Eden favorite for a full day. It may be expensive but I feel the girl deserves a nice day out and I am hoping that when we finally get to bed at night we can ëmake loveí rather than just have sex, if you know what I mean.
My query really relates to where to take her for a great dinner. I feel she would be uncomfortable in an expensive restaurant or river cruise and that she would probably prefer Thai food to something ëforeigní. I am sure if I asked her she would say anything is OK but having taken girls to the ëOrientalí or ëGianniísí before I sensed they are were very uncomfortable even if, to me, they do not look out of place. The girls I have taken before have complained of people staring at them and making comments.
Any ideas?

I've taken girls to Fabb Italian Restaurant and Jazz Club in the Mercury Tower, on three occcasions. ÝSince this is very much an upscale restaurant, the girls did feel a bit uncomfortable, but seemed to enjoy the experience anyway.
Entertainment is provided by a very capable easy listening jazz band, and the food is excellent. ÝIf your girl only eats Thai, then this is not the place for her. ÝHowever, linguine isn't that far removed from pad thai. Ý
When I was there last month, the waiter was glad to help my girl with her order (there are no thai language menus). ÝWe both had the lobster bisque for starters, Ýand she had a scallop salad for a main course. I went for the rack of lamb. ÝOutstanding! ÝWe shared a creme brulee for desert, but she didn't particularly care for it.
I couldn't get my girl to get up and dance, however. ÝShe said she didn't have the self-confidence. ÝThere was only one other table occupied by 11 PM, appeared to be about a dozen people celebrating a birthday party. ÝA woman from the table stood up and sang a few songs with the band. ÝMy girl, who seemed in awe of the place, claimed she was a famous Thai movie star.
Despite the discomfort, I know she appreciated being taken there. ÝThe dinner ran me about 3500, including a carafe of wine.

Walk out to Sukhumvit, there are some food carts with some mighty tasty waterbugs, and grasshoppers. Your barfine will admire your good taste as well as the taste of the waterbug as it explodes it's scrumptous juices insider her mouth. And you'll enjoy the hours afterward snatching the antennas and legs from between her teeth.

I checked mine out of the Eden Club last week and took her to dinner at the Greenhouse located at the Landmark Hotel - street level.
My TG was comfortable - they have great noodles, the waiters were friendly, there were other BG's there who were dressed causul, and nobody stared.
An added attraction is the pastry shop next door - if you take her to dinner early enough!

I find your public display of affection distasteful, in fact it would lead one to believe that you harbor gay tendencies.
Happytheman, I agree with MM3 the Brew Pavilion is a great choice. They have a big live band, good Thai food and many MP workers go there after work to eat so she wouldn't be getting those evil stares that she might encounter at other upscale dining places.
