I have received two messages from people I know.
1) Pattaya is full of Russians
2) Thailand is getting very expensive
Here is one of the messages:-
Paid £950 for a Thai economy flight, most decent girls want 4k Lt, barfines in beer bars were 600 to 800, 1000 baht is approx £25.(even less in some cases)
A Phuket cutie wanted 8K for Lt.
Went into Secrets bar and was the only customer.

Im on the mainland and we still get flights return for 650 to 700 Euro out of amsterdam china airways and eva depends the time of year just avoid the school holidays and xmas.
As for prices I look at gogos but never bf and never do all night was last in bkk less than 2 years ago never pay more than 1 k st and 500 st in pattaya but found the oil massage 800 baht and 1500 to the girl [includes glas of water no alcohol ] total 2300 to be a good deal. If you go to a good place like barons was and tulip sometimes is you will get raped for 2 hours.
the hoighty toighty biatches who want 7 k lt f*** them who needs them. But also I have a big collection of tel numbers and old friends who remember me. Have gogo girls in nana 1 k st no worries not young meat but like an old girlfriend as I like it.
So as in everything you have to shop wisely.
Man even in Amsterdam I can get short time for 1200 baht 15 minutes though but save on the 700 airfair lol. A club will cost around 3000 baht for an hour gfe for a bit more in the tub. Sometimes its cheaper to stay at home or take a shorter trip last time I was there for 4 weeks. Family visit so I was stuck and totally boring if my hotel was not in soi 4 sukomvit but 30 days 3 to 4 girls a day and the booze well it adds up so you need to bring your pocket money.

I was there in October 2011. I didn't find it too bad.
His flight was at Easter, hence the premium.
Does it look like a lot of Russians, or has there been an infestation?

Back then 1 € was 45 baht...now its more like 37 !
That is a 20% price increase just on money exchange!

Hermanolobo : Whitout speaking about the disapearance of the Euro, if the current trend carry on, we are looking at 1€= 25 baht in about 5 years. Then P4P in Thailand will be very very expensive.
The Japanese punters are experiencing something similar with the yen to baht exchange rate.
