Can anyone help me....

I have this website saved in my "favourites" folder... so when I come here I am "guest".  As "guest" I look at a post that just been made and it tells me the date is Fri Oct 11th.

Say I then want to reply to that post... or any post... then I have to log in as a member... as soon as I log in the displayed dates change.

The post I was just looking at which read:
"last post Fri Oct 11th (viewed as a guest)
Now reads:
"last post Fri Sep 27th (viewed as a member)

As a guest all the dates are fine... as a member they are all 2 weeks out.

I have looked in the "help" file.  Am still lost.
Any ideas where I am screwing up would be appreciated.

I do not think it's a problem with your machine and you have done nothing wrong.  Since when you were loggin' in as "guest" the time stamp functioned  correctly.

Sounds like a problem with forums date script.

bkkz will have to look at the code line and figure out why the date stamp is messed up.

Have you fear, BK will fix it!!  ha ha ha !!

One thing I just thought of that might make a difference, though I doubt it.

Remove the cookies from your machine. I mean data cookies and not eating cookies!! ha ha ha!!

If you are not sure how to remove them, then
if you are using I.E (Microsoft Explorer), then
* under tools at the top, go to internet options
* Click on the delete files
* make sure to check the delete all offline content
* Hit okay
* Then go to the start menu at the bottom left hand side or the monitor
* Click on  Search - files of folders
* Type in Temporary Internet Files
* Once the folder is found, double click on that folder.
* Once in the folder, delete all the files found in that folder.
* This will not hurt your computer and might reset the time stamp function for you.

Hope this helps!!!

may be it is something simple.

Go back to your profile and make sure you have set your time zone in correct format. I had the same problem but it is now cored.

I should have added that things might clear if you input your time offset as -05.00
OK

Dave you're a genius!!!  Many thanks!!!  It WAS that time thingy.
I had it set originally as -0600
Read your post changed it to -0500
Still todays posts were showing as September.
Then I re-read your post & realised I hadn't put a ". " (full-stop) inbetween the numbers, corrected that... and now today's date is showing as it should.

ABC...  I deleted my cookies and temp. internet files the other day, thinking too that might help.  Thanks anyway!!
