I get into BKK late in the evening on 28/09/03. I'm gonna have 2-3 days at the Majestic Suites (check out Thermae Cafe as I have never been here... ), down to Phuket for 3-4 days, then decision time, head to Pattaya and look for a honey to take to Laos or go straight to Laos and pick up along the way... decisions, decisions 
If you are gonna be in BKK at the same time as me, it is my shout.

Gee, the last 3 times I went to Cambodia, I hooked up with a honey (different one each time), and only needed to pay for her room, food, and travel expenses. I of course gave 20 usd at the end of the "tour", but she got to go lots of places that she would never have been able to go herself.

I'm not trying to pick on you, I just like to see an even playing field. ÝIf someone can't defend themselves, then I feel compelled to do it for them. ÝI'm sure you have good reasons for not liking califdann, but when viewed within a limited context, I think this is irrelevant.
Here's the point I wish to make:
Don't you love the backstabbers in your workplace who don't have the guts for confrontation? ÝAny organization is better off without them, since conflicts are inevitable anyway.
Now, I must admit, you raise a far more important issue that vastly supercedes mine. ÝCertain covert activities are necessary, but excessive governmental surveillance of a free people poses a far greater threat to individual liberties than any terrorist organization. ÝWe have met the enemy, and it is us. ÝSome of the laws passed because of 9/11 hysteria are absolutely frightening.
I wonder how many forum members have eyes too open.
