came back from dec 2002 after a week in LOS and was suffering the LOS hangover. Usual story - found the site when searching for some practical info, had a quick look at the forum out of vague curiosity, then found I'd accidentally stumbled on by far the best single source of information and opinion about P4P in LOS.
Read avidly, made me re-think a lot of things, put a lot of other things in perspective, opened several entirely new doors. A major learning experience, even for a non-newbie.
Eventually, I decided the time had come to to stop lurking and contribute my own 2d-worth. As we all do in the end...
And, yeah, all kudos and thanks to BK. He's created something of genuine value here. Ý

The net has traditionally been my main source of info on the Bangkok scene. Back in 1993, I remember looking up info in internet newsgroups and the old text-based world sex guide on my unix workstation. I was introduced to this by a fellow research student who spent his evenings (nights) in the lab downloading porn. He was later caught by our sys admin with something like 4000 pics in his diskspace in the main server. Today I am not even sure things like newsgroups still exist. Anyway, more recently I searched the net for updated info and found Bkktonight, which is somewhat similar to the old newsgroups, maybe easier to use.
