I'm a recently joined member, and have read through many of the threads. I'll be making my first trip to LOS on Oct 22-30. I'll go to Koh samui for a few days in the middle. I've gotten a lot of "book learnin'" from the pages here and got a lot from them. Like which MP's to try, how not to overpay, and not to fall in love with any of the girls. I'll be in full butterfly mode for my first trip here. But "field research" is the way go. I'll be grateful to any Bros who are in BKK when I arrive who would be up for a beer and an "on-site tutorial

Heh heh heh... good luck poskat! Since I'm also a rookie I read many posts here & elsewhere, traveled with a pro of 15 or so visits, and still managed to break most of the rules. I did avoid falling in love with any one particular girl, but who can avoid not falling in love with LOS itself? It will be a cold day in BKK before I can shake an addiction like this. Later this year I might be taking yet another rookie for his first visit. What often starts out as simple intrigue seems to become a life-long habit for many. Cheers to the real Vice City!
