Seem to be revisting a bunch of old haunts lately and Pink Pather is one of them. Won a few baht by betting on one of Pink Pather's lady boxers earlier in the week.. Oldtimer invited the winner to join him for a drink or two but after collecting her tips she said that she had to move onto another club.
Oldtimer likes the white satin bikinis on dark Issan skin...much better than the black ones the young go-go ladies wear every other night in this old club. Barfine is a reasonable 500 but Oldtimer recalls when he first started to prowl Patpong area the tarrif was 75 or 100 baht plus 100 lady tip for long time.
Of course, there were also lots of pretty flight crew (stews we called them) on two day layovers in Patpong pubs back then.Oldtimer thinks some of the bossy grandmothers still flying for US airlines may remember those days when Pan American flew around the world touching down in BKK.
By the way, not many customers latey in this old watering hole but the TG's are quite attractive and a lot less pushy than their NEP sisiters.
For a real local hang out, try Crown Royal up the soi. Same old duffers in there most nights with a kind group of ladies. Even though Oldtimer is likely way older than most of these types you won't catch him sitting here nursing a drink all night...he is more likely to be nearby chatting up some young but brainless TG's in Pink Panther, Electric Blue, or King's Castle 2....or later on at soi 33 or sometimes G Club.

Yes, the Pink Panther was the first gogo venue I visited back in 1984.
I remember ladydrinks were 30 baht and I didn't have to pay the girl I stayed with all week.
Barfine not quite sure... I never payed it either.
