But having not had a drink in more than 10 years I can say without reservation that "the best sex I ever had was when both parties were totally sober."
For the reason of more enjoyment from sex (apart from all other reasons) I wish I had never started my 20 years of drinking.
If you are like most drinkers, all your social contacts, friends, and usually most family members are drinkers.
So naturally you don't have a lot of communication with non-drinkers.
Many drinkers think "Hey, everybody drinks!"
Not true at all I have found out since I left drinking behind.
In one sense, you are probably right, most drinkers would not say the above.
However as a drinker you are not in a position to know what you might say after you had some experience of time without drinking.
And statistically speaking, you most probably never will be in that position as most drinkers simply continue to drink come what may.
Of course that is all subject to my original condition "If you are like most drinkers..."
