Xanax 'advocates' are apparently morons - seriously, Xanax works REALLY well for what it is intended, which is relieving the symptoms (symptoms only!) of anxiety, on a case per case basis. Seen too many losers get hooked on it, and now get the shakes at the very thought of running out of it.
Besides, neither valium nor Xanax are ever intended nor recommended to be taken with any amount of alcohol, which really makes either completely mis-prescribed for most people on this forum (albeit, I'm certain, fun to watch)

No! Absolutely not. I know Valium and this pill is nearly one-third the size and a brighter shade of yellow.

I think it is missleading to call the colour of valium "yellow", "Beige" would be a more accurate description.
P.S Taking Valium with alcohol has differeny effects on different people ( same as most drugs do), personally several years ago when taking valium I had no problems mixing it with more than several beers.

Policeman's Xanax death leads to crackdown
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has tightened measures to control the distribution and use of the tranquiliser alprazolam, sold as Xanax, after it was allegedly used by a transsexual to drug a police officer, who died. FDA deputy secretary-general Narangsan Phirakij said importers, distributors and manufacturers of alprazolam have been ordered to file a monthly report on sales and purchases to the FDA.

Coming back from Cambodia on the 20th I read of this death in the Nation- at press time they'd caught the katoey driving the deceased's pickup truck. They also found the katoey in possession of 100 pills [apparently the Xanax] which the katoey admitted spitting one into a beer the officer was drinking shortly after they'd met. Story also said the off duty policeman had approached the katoey in a bar and had solicited it to become a police informant. Katoey was so hard up it decided to take that opportunity as a pretext to get the cop out of the bar and rob the cop.

No, only those who qualify - I believe I the criteria were pretty clear in my post, i.e. folks who get hooked on drugs because they use them casually, and are too dumb to look up what they do, and what the addictive factors are. Essentially, pill poppers. Got an issue with that definition and those criteria? Bummer.

Actually if one were to want to get technical, and have the time to catalog them, I'd say that a plethora of posts of yours could be assigned to convey that impression. Essentially, any response dealing with women and money qualifies - which, as I have said many times before, is unfortunate. The fun loving, f*** anything LY was a far more enjoyable read, than the current 'embittered over the venality of womenfolk' LY that you seem to have adopted.

Yes, isn't that an amazing talent and gift? Actually, just to correct actions you seem to ascribe to me (if not to say, place into my mouth), I am neither adept at taking drugs, or prescribing them. I am familiar with what certain drugs do, simple based on the fact that I retain information conveyed to me by doctors, by other information, or noticing the sad events transpiring around me in the case of the aforemetioned losers. Like you noted, it seems to be a rare gift in this environment.

Daffy,, I am more than willing to proove, you get the val I will pay for my own beer.It is a fact that some people have a higher tolerance to certain drugs.
Having recently had an operation,post-op I was given a full dose of injected morphine,, 15 minutes later the doc returned to check on pain control,,, it had had minimal effect so doc injected another dose, 15 minutes later same same, still in pain. Doc asked about earlier life-style etc and deduced I had a very high tolerance therefore needed something different ( was at max dose of morph so could not have more). Liquid panadeine was added to the drip and vaboom 10 minutes later pain was almost zero.
I apologise for no fitting into the "norm" as far as drug resistance goes.
