I buy little sqeezy blue and white bottles from my local chinese/thai corner store......dont know the name 'cause its in Thai, but it must be more than 35% deet. It ruined a pair of cheap sunglasses so it probably stripps paint as well.....its about 27 Baht a little bottle. Fantastic stuff!!
I have a "mosquito magnet" at home.....a machine that burns LPG bottled gas and actually attracts the little buggers, but then it vacuums them up and traps them in a little bag. My fish love 'em when they have dried out. I can now sit outside in the garden evenings without being eaten alive, and without having to burn coils or spread deet all over myself.
