Looking for current information on testing and cost. TG friend willing to get tested for STD's but tells me it will cost 5000B. Sounds a bit high so I checked Bumrungrad website and it is not so clear. This is what I am looking to learn about.
How much is the cost for a full battery of STD tests including HIV?
How long does it take to get the results?
Will they provide a written report in English?
If I decide to send the money in advance for the test what is the best way to send money?
I'm not a newbie but I have never arranged for a girl to be tested in Thailand the so far have never sent money to one so this is all new territory for me. Thanks for your help.

But it sounds as if you may not be in LOS. If not, do not expect to get a copy of the results sent to you. While Coi 11 is fine, the Bumrungrad is arguably the best. You can email them for a quote and they will reply within 1-2 business days.

Unless you are 100% sure TG will remain faithfull to you until you return why not wait until you arrive and do the test then. As I see it, that is the only way you will know she is clean when you meet up with her again. A clean test one morning is not necessarily a clean test the next morning.

Last survivor, You are absolutely correct. I was thinking about that and since I don't get in until late in the day I will have her do the test the day I arrive. Still some chance she could sneak one in before she sees me that night but doubtful and many of the things that are being tested for take weeks or months to show up so not changing the odds much. Bigger issue is getting a fake report so I will insist on Bumrungrad.
I think the young thing doesn't want to blow this for lots of reasons but I also realize she is a BG and will take the money in the hand before counting on what might be. Whatever I do there will be risk, but hopefully less risk than no test at all.

wanderingsam, I don't wish to support what you are doing ( I consider the risk far outways the benefit) but to add further protection, ENSURE your hep A and Hep B antibodie levels are strong ( I assume you have had the shots) and it's only a quick blood test to have your "resistance" level checked.
I hope it all works out A+++, perhaps in the not too distant future we will here of little wanderingsams
