Lads, I was in LOS a year ago and took a FL from suk back to my hotel for a session. Well into the session I noticed a funny feeling. 5 minutes later I pulled out, coz it seemed she was sooo dry and I noticed that the condom was broken. I now have to take a HIV test for business in a month and am freaking out as this could affect my future business. Over the past couple of months I have been comforting myself with the fact that she was "new to the game",absolutely rubbish in the sack, was as dry as the dessert, I havent had any symptoms. Could you guys give me an idea as to the likelyhood of picking up hiv during this encounter??? I am too much of a coward to take a proper test but know that it will have to be done soon.

if you have to be tested you are not being tested for HIV you are being tested for antiboidies believed to react with HIV. You should make yourself aware of what test you will have to undergo and in what condition i.e Elisa, or western blot, seeing as you are worried you should make yourself aware of the problems with these testing methods, their "supposed" accuracy and what can cause cross reactivity, basically exposure to certain pathogens, such as hep b vaccination, malaria or tubercolosis as well as many others can cause a postive test result in healthy individuals.
All in all even the CDC has published reults from one HIV negative one HIV positive partner in long term relationships suggesting seroconverison - an indivdual going from testing HIV negative to HIV positive - takes place (if at all) after an avaerage of 1000 sexual intercourses with an HIV+ partner (unprotected + vaginal sex), which may or may not be in the presence of other risk factors (drug taking, immune supression, other potential blood contact). This is suggested to not equal a 1 in 1000 risk factor but seroconversion is thought to be the result of a cumulative influence. I.e it requires an individual to be continually engaging in intercourese with an HIV partner about 1000 times.
So based on this a single intercourse serconversion would be ridiculously unlikely, and any positive result assuming you are normally a healthy individual would be more likely to be a result of incorrect testing or cross reactivity than presence of the antibodies in large enough quantities to represent an HIV+ result (it has been suggested in studies that even healthy people have HIV antibodies, just not in high enough quantities to register positive results on tests, although the HIV science establishment will not readily admit this.) It is also true that there is no standardisation on testing procedures, a positive result in one lab can lead to a negative reult in another. A particular test from one individual know to be promiscuous and homosexual or an intrevenours drug user may lead to a positive result whereas the exact same test reult from a housewife living in lemington spa (bascially someone thought to have a very low risk factor) will result in a ngative test result. However regardess of risk factors I beleive it is best to educate yourself on this subject as much as possible as to actually what has been scientifically proven with regards to HIV/aids as oppose to what we are led to believe in the media, as mental anxiety can cause huge problems all by itself.

I would say your chances are very low. Not sure if I would believe the part about being new to the game? Maybe she was dry because she was a post op? Just kidding.
As I always say LUBE!!! The reason the condom broke was because she was dry. So use more lube!!
If you had a one time condom brake just go take the test. At least you didn't get any other STD's maybe that would lean the evidence towards the fact she might use condoms all the time therefore your one broken condom would mean little risk.
Take a couple valium before you go to have the test if you need to. Or will that give a false positive? Maybe skip the Valium but just go get the test and put it behind you (no pun intended)

Please tell me at the time you didn't know she was positive  I assume you were not using a condom or your post would not make much sense.
However I am not totally surprised. It is rather hard to get it from having sex with a girl. Much more risk for the girl if the guy is positive.
Still after saying that everyone please still use a condom. There are also many other STD's so best to wrap up.
