I'm going to chime in and say that the Suk 11 clinic is top-notch. Extremely professional, and very friendly. As others have said, the nurse is somewhat cute.
I got the full gamut done at the behest of my farang gf after being exposed as the BTFer that I am, and the service at the clinic was very very good. For the full testing, it cost 2850B. I got the urine results after about 5 minutes, and the blood results after 6 hours.
Urine: Clap, gonor, etc = clean.
Blood test: HIV, Syph, Hep A B C = clean
Herpes = unclean. (also Blood test).
So, I have herpes in my bloodstream. I must say that I have had the odd cold sore on my lips in my time, but I've never had any abnormalities on my short arm. I'm of the understanding that there are different types of herpes and I would love for someone more knowledgable than I to enlighten me on about what my positive herpes diagosis means.

Don't worry about it.... but avoid contact with areas showing sores...it is very contagious. Cold sores on the mouth can end up as genital herpes if physical contact is made....male or female 
At first sign of a sore, sometimes just a tingling sensation, treat it. Any pharmacy will have the cream and tablets. Zovirax cream or its generic product - active ingredient Acyclovir. But do not take my word or it.....seek medical advice.

That website is very informative. Acyclovir has been my anti-coldsore medicine thus far. I'd imagine that it would be tough to distinguish a 'tingling sensation' in my loins from what I'm hoping to achieve here, but I'm glad that the website has shown me what to look for as far as physiology is concerned.

While no major complaints on Soi 11, the last time I was there, I noticed they do not were latex gloves while drawing blood or dealing with samples....generally not a good sign.
It been an interesting 10 days so I decided to check out BNH on Convent Rd for a precautionary round of tests. Did not want Bumrungrad as that is my regular place. Walked into the hospital and took the lifts to the 4th floor (right hand side elevators) to the health clinic, simple one page registration form and away we go.
While IMHO not as good as BH, the nurses and doc were very pleasant. While talking to the doc, he said many clinics have people suffer the unpleasantness of "the drip" test (swab jammed up the urethra) for little or no reason. According to him, unless there are obvious signs of the disease, the swab test cannot confirm the existence of any STD so therefore pointless. (something to consider next time you go for a round of tests)
Did the bottle and blood.....told me to come back in one hour for the complete results (with hard copy). All the anti-bodies, urine analysis and HIV negative and total bill 2230 baht.
Some things are priceless.....for everything else there's pussy 
So farewell Soi 11 for me......

Just to make it Very Clear :
if you go to BNH and seek a Urologist, do NOT go to the 4th Floor. the Urologists area is right on the left when you enter... almost before the information counter.
BNH Full test is expensive : 3000+ depending on the tests and if you require medicine
