Gingko Bilboa is available at every chemist or health food store. There are certainly Thai firms who produce it (it is made from the gingko nut which is often eaten as a thai dessert - pae-kuay tom namtan). I would suggest Siam Drug as probably the cheapest place to get it in Thailand (through a shop that is). Gingko Bilboa (and the gingko nut) are thought to be good for memory retention (and your brain in general). I am afraid there is not much evidence that it is helpful for Alzheimer's but then again it is an incurable disease with a 100% mortality rate and 'gingko bilboa' is unlikely to do any harm.

Not willing to sound like a smart ass but real name is "Gingko Biloba" not "bilboa"... It come from the shape of the leaves of this tree wich have two "lobes" (LATIN : Bi: two Loba: Lobes), it is also called "goose foot tree" for the same reason. I wish the best to the wife of your friend. MAdfrog

'what I remember' shining example of failed advertising and performance claims. But then again, maybe prior to posting that, he had actually forgot how to write, so could go either way really.
