Research released by Dr David Greening of Sydney IVF shows that frequent ejaculation improves sperm quality in men with high levels of DNA-damaged sperm.
This study defined frequent ejaculation as being daily for seven days. Forum members may disagree on that point.
The more a man ejaculates, the lower the sperm concentration. Offsetting this, it is suggested, the percentage of DNA damaged sperm also drops.
Same as with food really - fresh is best.

That's interesting.
Same with food, huh?...wonder if it affects the taste! In common with most of the men here, I ejeculate WAY more than normal (when I talk to friends about it, quite a few seem to shoot once or twice a week, so the average seems on the low side). And women have told me I have sweet tasting sperm (I know, I know how many ways can a woman flatter a man's ego, but lets assume it's true).
I always thought it was all down to the food you eat - and as someone posted on this board, sperm is only about 1% of ejeculate.
But maybe if that 1%'s been hanging around in your balls sack for a week, it's starting to taste like old seafood, and it doesn't take a whole load of putrid fish to make a mouthful unpalatable.
So how about THAT for an excuse next time you're trying to convince someone to CIM - 'don't worry babes, give it go, you'll love it, it's fresh as it comes!'
Well.....it's worth a try!
