Almost a year ago, picked up a little NSU infection, most likely from a BBBJ. Went to the doctor, did the tests, got the meds and felt much better, for a while....
Anyone that has had an NSU infection knows that while not as bad as some STDs it is nontheless annoying. Tingling, itching, dribbling etc. A couple weeks after I finished my meds the symtpoms came back. Not as severe but as I said annoying and disturbing.
I went back to the doc, did the tests again, no infection. He says that sypmtoms can last for weeks or months (yes months!) after the infection is gone. I try to wait it out but after another month I'm still feeling something so I go back... same story...no infection.
This goes on and on until I try a different doctor and he asks me if I use any powders, especially cooling powders. I in fact do. Guys that live in hot, humid climes know the wonder that is cooling powder and how it helps keeps heat rashes from developing on the insides of your legs and other areas. Anyway I've been using a power every day for just this purpose. The doc says that these powers are quite strong and can irritate the urethra of some people causing symptoms very similar to an infection.
Long story short, he was right, after I stopped using the powder the symptoms have started to fade away. Always see a doctor when your 'nong chai' is having problems but keep this in mind.

Wise words. I myself got so caught up in looking for something horrible that I forgot to look for the obvious. My doc also told me that anxiety can also create symptoms of a problem that does not exist. Get checked by your doc, and don't overreact like I did
