hey a small problem here and used the search engine to no avail. genital warts I picked these little buggers up in 2000 with a bg that was my first bg love story "I love you too mutt". yeah no condom and look at the results!
anyway, 3 months later little red dots turn up on jakes head scares the crap out of me doc takes 2 seconds to say GW! Yes I was tested for everything no I always use a condom now. So I get condyline that burns the freaking skin off jakes head and they go away. But each year they come back, I know they are a virus and you cant kill em and they come a go and you can infect others when you have them. its not a major problem but it really pisses me off. tiny pin head bumps on my dick that dissapear with the treatment.
has anyone else had these buggers and what medicines have you tried to get rid of? any success stories? help much appreciated.

Has the doctor diagnosed Herpes (HPV-1 or 2) ?
I yes, that's for life as far as I know...
I had "molluscum" warts some time ago but this can be removed with laser and then treatment with an expensive virus-weakening cream to definitely get rid of it.

You possibly got condylomas, caused by the human papilloma virus. There are more than 75 different types. Before you can treat them they must be examined in order to find out which type you got.
If it is the HPV, then the standard treatment would be to remove them physically (e.g. burning with electricity) and then treat them with Aldara. As far as I know, Aldara is at present the only medicament which helps to get rid of these things. Expensive, but efficient. Very high success rate. For a proper treatment make also sure that the urethra and the bladder is inspected because the virus can wander up inside these organs. That would, of course, complicate the treatment.
And get used to the thought of refraining from sex for the next months. Even after the removal of the warts you should wait at least 6 months. The virus is highly contagious. Using a condome doesn't provide safety for your partner. And for women the virus is far more dangerous than for men because it can cause cancer of the womb. So, make sure that your partner is examined, too.

thanks for the info I will definately try Aldara. BTW they have gone now a week that is standard I hate them and yes I do refrain from "exercise" while I have them. I reackon it must be a mild dose but with a viral infection they do return.
I have been throuoghly checked for everything else and its all ok.
just thankfull that it wasnt anything more serious it does make me very carefull I hate to think about what bgs might be carrying not to mention all the johns that could be carrying god knows?

they burn them off with liquid nitrogen, it takes about 3 trips over a couple of months to get all the critters and about 6 months for the burns marks to disappear.
probably a good testimonial for using condoms!
