To be clear, Bankok Marriottt Resort & spa, on Chaophraya river
Have need to be stuck in this place for a weekend, anyone know of somewhere relatively close by where some fun can be had ? Oily, soapy, massage, literally anything within close distance for daytime fun.
Won;t have time to catch the boat to the BTS and travel the city, looking for something local, have a car so willing to search out places with directions if any bro's know.

I have stayed there many times and like it very much, but you will be pushed to find a good place nearby for fun (without crossing the river).
There are a couple of massage places in the little shopping mall directly attached to the hotel. I tried those last year and a HJ is available when having an oil massage, but I suspect you are seeking more than that, right?
I walked the main road running at the front of the hotel and saw nothing of interest, but others may know of places reachable by car.

the free boat runs from the marriott across the river every 30 mins or so. Take the boat and grab a cab. it's not all that time consuming. You're probably like 30mins from silom...

AD, trouble with Silom during the day is it's old haggered beer bar girls and some dodgy massage places, I was just hoping for a change in scenery with something close by to the Marriott.

Lower Silom is a very nice area.
Soi 15 and above.
NaiLert and Holiday Inn hotels and many upscale shops.
Recommend you eat at Maria's on the left side going toward the river just after Soi Pramuan.
Lots of local color with Thai street shops and food stalls.
I worked down there for several years.

I love the hotel, but have never even tried to find a nearby entertainment venue. It's a fairly short ride to and from BTS, but of course, it closes at midnight.
I've stayed there probably 4 times over the last 5 years. The taxi drivers almost always have trouble finding it, even if I tell them to cross Saphaan Taksin. (Think that's right - it's been a while). Anyway, my point is to ask the front desk to provide you with several sets of maps & driving instructions. It will reduce both travel time and meter fees.

Apologies for the delay in updating, my stay in the Marriott 10 days ago turned out okay.
Unfortunately I tried 2 massage places in the shopping complex in front of the hotel and BOTH times, despite trying VERY hard, a HJ was NOT on the menu, simply no way, both times the same excuse "my boss, I cannot, sorry". Of course I may have had unenthusiastic girls, but I did get a genuine feeling it was house rules.
I took an educated gamble on a Tuk Tuk, he took me to a very low end FB place, only Thai guys, wouldn't know where, but same side of the river and about 10 minutes ride, despite my Thai skills and already informing Tuk Tuk he was getting 200B tip if I found a lady and NOTHING from the place I was still quoted prices far in excess of what the girls were worth, 3 girls, all very Fat and ugly, I would suggest Thais pay 500-1000 for these girls in this place, including services, I was quoted 2,500, I walked out.
The best event occured when I asked one of the bell men to sort me a girl, it was 5:30am as I had been drinking with freinds, within 20 minutes I had an absolute stunning lady at my room door, 22yrs old, firm, medium sized breasts, flat stomach with naval piercing, very pretty indeed and very soft natured. I was told 1,500 for 2hrs massage and it included a HJ, she concurred but she wanted me to upgrade, FS 2,000 (extra), we negotiated a little and reached a price and service level we were both happy with (considering the time, my level of exhaustion and her great body and looks).
Sex was great, she was fun, I settled and she left, the bell man got 100B tip, I have no doubt the girl gave up a few baht for him too.
In short, for quick, simple action i'd suggest the bellboy service which will cost 3K+ for 2hrs. (maybe cheaper at a more convenient time??). (or better is to travel to the BTS and go wherever).
