I was staying in a place up in this soi and had to walk in front of this Apsara place 6 times a day...Each time he was screaming to me "Thai massaze,foot massaze, oil massaze Seur...."

Have to agree with Caronte. The fun part is in discovering. And disappointements are part of the game. You drill for oil at a hundred spots, you don't know where you will strike rich. When you do strike rich you come away feeling pleased as punch with yourself. Not to mention the great story you have to post here. And the magic of the discovery lives with you for a long time. I actually went to Aspara in Sukhumvit So 4 in Oct 2004,
You walk up a flight of stairs.
I opted for the foot massage. Think cost me 900Bht for 40 min. That's costly.
Done by a guy. Think he did not know what he was doing, compared to the solid reflexology given by properly trained masseurs.
Below average standard foot massage.
Done on 2nd level.
It is clean room with polished wooden floor.
Aircon was on. Confortable.
Not cheap.
My friend opted for the 'full spa treatment' offered by pretty girl. Very costly. Think 2800 Bht.
It is legit. No sex.
He came back complaining that the girl conned him.
He was promised 2 hours.
But the girl said stomach ache and was replaced by an ugly woman soon after starting.
They stop after 1 hour plus.
I cannot recommend the place for legit massage.
The standard of 'real' massage is low.

900b for a 40-min foot massage?? Jesus, Mother and Mary.... that's not "costly", it's extortion. Are there signs advertising these prices? They are higher than the Oriental Spa.
This place qualifies as a conshop, and should be given plenty of exposure so no one else gets screwed like MN. Outrageous.

Aspara SAP is a clean normal SPA run by a Singaporea company. There was a program on Singapore companies doing biz aboard and we highlight in Channel New Asia.
so if you are look for some naughty avoid this place. The charges are crazy, as they try to position themselve like Bayan Tree.

I passed this place during my visit last year, a girl outside wnated to give me free look inside and had a leaflet showing a picture of someone having a bath.
I was going to have a look inside on my next trip but i'll think i'll pass after reading these reports.

Ok, after having passed by this place umpteen times on several LOS trips, last week I decided to check this out. The advertising panel outside displayed all the rates. I opted for the topmost - the full body scrub with foam bath and cream massage since they had a great promo on at the time : 999 baht for a 1 hour 40 minute session. Besides they had a motivating pic of a lady scrubbing a customer in the foam bath.
Okay, so in I go. A serious looking young lady in t-shirt and jeans led me up to the cubicles. Having deposited me in one she asked me to strip down while she went out. I normally prefer to keep my briefs on since I enjoy having it peeled off by the masseuse. I was disappointed. The girl proceeded business like to scrub me with rock salt as I lay there on the massage table hoping against hope. On the positive side, however, the scrub was well done. It left the skin feeling fresh. That's about it. The electricity kept playing truant. Scrub over, she ordered me to sit in the tub which had been filled with hot water and foam. "Sit in there I come after 10 minutes" she said. After 10 minutes of solitary non-action in the tub, she returned, asked me to shower then went out again after handing me a towel. That done, I was given a cream massage for another 20-30 minutes.
That was it.

I've never liked this place since I walked into the Sunshade they had placed outside,strategically at forehead level.
