Went there yesterday. What a complete f*** - up !
This shop is definetly focussed on thai customers.
I will not see a single farrrang returning.
The offer on the menu is :
Aromatic Massage " Buffet " 999 Baht / 60 min
Buffet in their understanding ( as from the all-u-can-eat buffet ) means u can come as manny times as u can.
Once in the room ( nice ) the girl tells me to undress she will come.
15 min later she arrives. Fully dressed. some kind of scottish school uniform.
She starts with 3 strokes of " massage " then direct fideling on my lower parts.
Nice & gentle feels different.
After 2 mins she asked me to turn over and starts with a rough hj.

Yes, this is the problem mentioned previously. The girls are young, don't have much of a (or any) service mind or service ability and are only there to take your money with a lame trick... unless you play the long game such as Packripper described. Even then, it's not really a good bargain, all things considered, it's just a variety of experience; I think that point has been made. It's mainly based on the fantasy of young less experienced girls that draws customers, and I guess that's enough to collect the rent. Some of them fulfill that fantasy in a cute way; others are obviously less experienced with sex and decent service, but are more than enough experienced in gouging you (if you let them).
These places are marketing themselves as something hi-so, obviously, so they can pretend to be ignorant of the stupid price range often quoted for extra options as casanova asia 2005 described. The place obviously caters to a certain taste, which apparently some guys just can't do without.
If that's not your obsession, imagine being asked for 1k - 1.5k just for a girl to take off her clothes while she hj's you, in addition to that you've already paid 1k, and yet this is what they often try for... and unfortunately get excited/desperate/uncomprehending fellows to pay it. I have chatted with the owner there several times about service levels, but haven't broached the subject of the absurd prices these girls quote for tips for "options" such as nudity and body massage. I should, if I go back, or someone should. I haven't been to all these places, so maybe it's more regular and reasonable elsewhere; perhaps Packripper could tell us.
But again, as Packripper mentioned, the prices come down a bit on successive visits (you don't pay the goofy prices on first time) ; and also, not every girl is so unreasonable. Thirdly, if you speak Thai, you will eventually be able to meet them outside, become their sponsor, and anything else their customers eventually get up to.
I speak Thai, I just tell them on the first meeting that those kinds of prices are just plain silly and they know it. If they pretended not to know it in a annoying way, I just didn't see her again. You have to take time to get to know a few, and eventually you get some that are reasonable and get nicer and nicer... After the 2nd or 3rd visit, with many of them, it's better, but not all. I do doubt though if many speak much English at all. That's the way it is in that kind of venue. I mostly went to this one often because I used to live very near it. The best thing really is the pretty decor in some ways.

Yeah, I've got hundreds of those 'plays.' Not going to list them all because they lose their effect when everyone else starts to use them.

Hey, sadly, I am currently watching Thai channel TV Thai and they're running an "investigative special" on these pretty spas as I type. You know, they get a guy with a camera in his shirt or up his nose to pose as a customer and someone else talking about it with a distorted cartoon voice and bla bla bla...
Apparently, there's a police problem because the places are not registered as ab op nuad (soapie) but as massage for health, and yet have sexual activity... so they say, despite how kooky it sounds. Obviously, the fuzz has just caught on to this new style of sex venue and is having this run so they can go get their share of the proceeds. That's how it works. I wonder if there will by any obvious effects to us.
I'm not a huge fan of the pretty spas, but I hate to see them pressured by this kind of boloney.

It's a police on police issue. I think the concept will be around for awhile. Some police just want their cut from the other police. The documentaries are just for show. Forget about these places, absolute waste of time.
If you're a tourist, well, you are looking for real sex and not some sodding HJ by a naked girl, you want the real hardcore stuff that's abundantly available elsewhere. Waste of money.
If you're an expat, why the hell go to these places when you can get the exact same experience with a normal lady (not in the working biz?)...

For one, there's no relationship fodder when you 'shop and drop' at these places. These gals know to keep their distance when they see you in public, no calls or tweets every 5 minutes, not so if they think the two of you might be in a 'real' relationship. Not to mention the TIME savings when you're dealing with these 'pretty' pros (or any MP soapy, coyote, hostess, etc. pro for that matter). They've already been self screened to be the ones that accept CASH for GASH and not TIME for GASH, the latter for a lot of people is far more valuable.
It's pretty clear there is a quality difference as well, but of course everyone has different tastes. But yeah, for a good number of folks, I do agree with Nic that it's probably a waste of time and money (especially if you're on a budget for either).
