I think the 'gem' comment by Kaymanx and I was more about the better quality interior/atmosphere than the service.
Diving, dirty massage plus places are a dime a dozen in BKK - the spa type that also offer extra are not so common.
I'd literally pay double per visit for a place that offered Tulip/Mango service in a 'spa' environment.
In lieu of something like that, the proper massage/spa with good massage and sneaky bits at the end are a great filler every now and then.

You're spot on about the 'gem' observation. In fact, the one single biggest reason that I went back here was the memory of those nice, clean, tranquil rooms with clean bed and linen and the total relaxation that they instil in you. If I remember right, you started a thread in your quest for an erotic experience in a spa environment. This fits the bill quite nicely but.... I think FS would be ruled out..... I think.

Went to Lan Po yesterday afternoon and asked for a 2-hour oil massage. There was no line up but the girl was fine - late 20s, slim, friendly with decent English. I wouldn't really describe this place as a spa, more like a slightly more upmarket, typical Suk massage shop. However, the room was clean with a proper wide massage table, clean sheets and decent towels.
The massage itself was very good and within 15 minutes of starting she told me that everything was on offer here too. I told her that we would discuss extras later and she agreed, continuing to give a firm, sensuous oil massage. Eventually I asked her to give me a body to body with a hj finish; she told me she had never done b2b before but after some discussion she agreed to let me teach her! This turned out to be an excellent arrangement as she in fact needed little instruction, taking to it like the proverbial fish, moving on to bbbj, DATY and then after further discussion FS for 1500. She was really excellent and absolutely up for it with no rush and plenty of flexibility.
Overall, a great find and well worth a repeat visit. Thanks to the brothers who recommended the place.

I was there last week while in BKK. But must have been too early it was maybe 10:45AM.
Also saw the one on the same side of the street Silk I think it was does not open until 12. Same for Lan Po?
Of course the tiny wham bam shops on the other side of the street were all yelling for me to come over. I do not respond well to that. Give me a peaceful, serene environs with my massage please.

Has anyone here tried the 4 hand or the 6 hand massages? How was it? I have had 4 handed massages here in the States but never in LOS. I will be in Bangkok next week and will go to this place for at least a 2 hand massage.

I am not very sure but I just recalled that I used to see their green neon-lit sign on at 2 or 3 in the morning whenever I passed by while returning to my hotel after a night out -- or, maybe it was all those drinks. Maybe the next bro to visit Lan Po could confirm whether Lan Po is a 24x7 massage parlour.

Missed your 2009 report earlier, but this is exactly what I often look for in BKK: a great relaxing professional massage topped off by a few extras to finishing the session and any built-up 'stiffness' off in a nice, clean spa-like environment. I often wonder why there aren't many more of such places, as not everyone is up for a hardcore pounding 'massage' session at a sleazy joint all the time that the oilies offer, and specials are off the menu at all the legit spas that do provide the right ambiance. The closest I've come to getting FS with a proper massage was at my only visit so far to Angels (see my Nov 2010 FR), but I've been told that was probably a lucky exception. Will definitely check out Lan Po next time!
Expat 67, the best deal, imo, for a 4-hand massage can be had at the Levana down on Soi 12. This is an impressively large legit spa, the girls are middle aged professionals, and the service competent. but amongst its peers, it offers the best price for a 4-hand (under B2k), so it's like getting a 4-hour aroma session for the price of 2!
