Went to Bamboo. Had Cheer. Great sesh, but beware, Bam has instituted an extra 500 baht charge for A+ Service. So in addition to the oily charge being 100 Baht more than the other shops, if you partake of A+ service you will pay 2000 as opposed to 1500. So an hour is 2500 as opposed to 1900 at the other shops. Almost 1/3 more.

Hmm...Not sure why the mama would force the girls to charge more for A+ when it has no impact on her earnings...in fact if anything it will reduce her income as the cheap charlie brigade whinge and moan and go elsewhere.
I wonder if 'Cheer' tried it on ?

Nope, was not Cheer. I pay at the counter after the session. Bam holds a calculator with 2500 in front of my face. And in Bam's defense it is in the fine print on her price list, but of course I did not see that till after the session.

The higher prices just make cause this shop to fail.
They have the 'cheap charlies' wincing.
Now the A level boys.
Add this to the stats that 2 of every 3 new businesses fail
to make it to year two, and the conclusion is grim.

I actually called Bam when I got home from the session and made that same comment.
It had proven to be a tough location and higher prices will not fare well.
But, this is Thailand and what will probably happen is all the other shops will raise their prices as well.
Nothing ever seems to happen to benefit the customer here.

I fully agree that we'll see a price increase across the board shortly, or the ones that don't will be left with 'the uglies' as the better performers move on.
To be fair, 1,500 for the girl for the services they provide is actually cheap, the price should go up.
