Question for you guys... would you gain anything by tipping the mamasan in an oily? This worked very well for me in the soapy venues years ago to get a recommendation for service, but never tried it in an oily. It seemed in a soapy they are there to look after the needs of the customer. From what I understand in the go-go bars they are there to manage the girls and make sure they are happy. Would the mamasan in an oily be there to help you or mainly to look after the girls? Any of your expert opinions would be helpful.

No, I don't see any reason to do that.
I never even tip the girls beyond the 1500 baht fee and always get great service.

Don't see how that would really help. Being a repeat customer on the other hand, helps as they will know you, and they would remind their new staff to give you good service.

Exactly! That is what I have found at the oilies. Been a regular at the PSE shops for 8 years. Owners, mamasans, and many gals know me, know my likes and dislikes, and know I am not abusive.
Therefore I get treated very well.

Sounds like she has learned a thing or two. Had a session with her a few months ago and it was a disaster. One of the worst oilies I have had.
She was just going through the motions and the skill set was not so good.

I have had the same in reverse more than a few time, with the bor here speaking a lot of good about girls who were complete turn off for me.

At least I will spare you the stupidity I encountered here so many time with fellow board members saying stuff like :
"This girl was allway nice with ME, so if you did not have a good time there must be something wrong with you (then add accusations of being a sadist/dirty/ugly...) "
We are all differents, with different expectations, so its no wonder we have different vision of the same girl (and the girl might behave very differently with a different guy of course)
