Yeah, tone it down a little Rea... the girls have been sharing this info with all their regular customers for 2-3 months now, but it does not become solid news until their new shop opens and then STAYS open after their first few encounters with the cops.
The location is at the foot of the stairs (southeast corner) of Thonglor BTS station... the sign on the shophouse is Som Sai, right next to the small alley where 38 Barber is located. Saeng and her partners are well aware of the role that the BTS system has played in the success of Baron...
Mook is in (backed by her Japanese sponsor), as is Nui. Obviously several of the Baron girls will join them, but most will wait until the new operation has burned in for a while...

I have said for years, in the other Baron threads, that the real talent there is not Saeng or any other individual legend. While her talent and want-to-please enthusiasm are justly held in high regard, the owner and manager/mamasan are what really keep the place near the top year after year. It requires a unique blend of hard-headed business sense, compassion and regular applications of plain old butt kicking to run a cathouse as well as Baron is run.
I don't see these departures having a big impact at Baron, though it will be disruptive in the short term as the opportunists migrate over to Tulips. The real question is whether Seang and company have what it takes to operate their own shop to the same standards....

passed by the shop this evening and oh my god, did not realise that it will be so near to the soi 38 junction... there goes the discreet factor....
